Ricky Brisson - Executive Officer
Mrs Ricky Brisson is a founding member of Australian Families for Children Inc -AFC (1981). She is the incumbent Executive Officer and Adoption Coordinator. Ricky is also a founding member of Australians Caring for Children Inc - ACC (1987) and a founding member National Coordinator of the Australian Intercountry Adoption Network - AICAN (1990). Member of the Federal Peak Body Support Group, representing NSW. (2008)
Ricky has served on the board of the NSW Council of Jewish Woman, chaired the NSW Intercountry Adoption Alliance, and was a board member of the NSW Committee on Adoption and Permanent Care.
Ricky is the adoptive mother of two children from South America, now aged in their mid 20's She has extensive experience in delivering adoption services including negotiating contractual agreements with both local and foreign authorities, running information meetings for adoptive families, coordinating seminars and workshops with a range of international guests speakers and developing a range of services for adoptees and adoptive parents. Ricky is proactive in advocating for the adoption community and children in need of families notably during recent years when policy, law and regulations have undergone extensive changes within Australia.
In addition to this voluntary service to the adoption community, Ricky Brisson is the Managing Director of Travel Blitz, a business she has successfully managed for over 30 years.
Andrew Riolo - Treasurer
Andrew Riolo is an adoptive father of Sang Hoon Lee who was adopted from Korea and is currently on a wai ting list for their second child.
Currently taking on the role of Mr Mum, Andrew is self employed operating under ‘FM Financial Matters’ providing Financial and Strategic Management Services to both Commercial and Non- for-profit organizations.
Prior roles Andrew held the position of Chief Financial Officer at St George Community Housing Co op, which is Australia's largest Community Housing provider and NGO and CFO at Body Corporate Service which is the largest Strata Management Company in Australia.
Andrew has had over 20 year’s commercial experience in a broad range of industries at Senior Executive levels ranging from Air & Sea Freight, Motor Industry, Finance and Insurance Brokerage.
Andrew Riolo holds a degree in Agricultural Economics at Sydney University , majoring in Accountancy and Economics.
Lynne Dalton - Public Officer
Lynne Dalton has over 25 years experience in the community sector and is currently the CEO of the Centre for Volunteering NSW a peak body representing and promoting volunteer activity in NSW.
Previously Lynne worked on a partnership project with NSW of Family Services and Department of Community Services on capacity building in small to medium not-for-profit organisations.
Lynne was also the Director of Holdsworth Street Community Centre in Woollahra where she managed 65 staff delivering support services to eastern suburbs residents. Lynne also spent three years at the Department of Ageing Disability and Home Care and five years with the National Parks & Wildlife Service in senior project positions.
Lynne’s experience in the non-profit area includes child care, family support, volunteering, environment, youth, disability and multi-culturalism. Lynne holds a degree in Social Science and is currently completing a B. Business Hons degree at UTS and is a qualified trainer specializing in management and governance.
She was previously a Board member of The Centre for Volunteering for over 8 years before taking up the CEO position. Lynne also sits on the Management Committee of Eastern Respite and Recreation, a disability service in eastern Sydney, and in her spare time she volunteers for the National Heart Foundation as a guest speaker.
